The Twin 2022

After a tragic accident Rachel (Teresa Palmer) and her husband Anthony (Steven Cree) moved to the other side of the world with their surviving son Elliot (Tristan Ruggeri) in the hope of making a new life. The tragic accident has killed one of their twin children Nathan (Tristan Ruggeri). Rachel is a mother in mourning after her young son Nathan was killed in the wreckage of a tragic car. Struggling to cope Rachel and her husband, Anthony sold their home and moved out of the state to their family’s old home in northern Finland. They bring their son and Nathan’s twin brother, who is dealing with the loss in his own way. Rachel hopes that she and her family can overcome their devastation and make a fresh start in the countryside of peaceful Finland. But those expectations are slowly being dashed. It starts with Elliott who likes to play with Nathan’s old toys and asks for an extra bed in his room for his dead brother. Rachel feels empathy and goes along with it, realizing that Elliott needs time and space to come to terms with her way. Anthony feels that this is hindering Elliott’s ability to cope with the tragedy. This marital tension increases throughout the film.
